Kemenkop Removes Intidana KSP From The Problematic Cooperative List

The Ministry of Cooperatives (Kemenkop) together with the Intidana Cooperative Revitalization Task Force (Satgas) stated that the Intidana Savings and Loans Cooperative (KSP) had been removed from the list of eight problematic cooperatives. And start making refunds to members or borrowers.

Minister of Cooperatives (Menkop) Budi Arie Setiadi emphasized that his party had received a report from the Task Force that KSP Intidana could solve the problem of defaulting on its members.

"All problems have been resolved by the management, supervisors, and also all members of KSP Intidana accompanied by the Task Force," Budi said in his statement in Jakarta, Friday, February 14.

For the success of KSP Intidana leaving the list of eight problematic cooperatives, Budi Arie also appreciated all parties involved.

Starting from the Task Force consisting of elements from the Attorney General's Office, the Police, the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), the Financial Services Authority (OJK) to the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK), to commitments from KSP Intidana members themselves.

"KSI Intidana is really a true cooperative, not a ponzi. Therefore, there are intentions and efforts to resolve it. Because from the reports I saw, there were several problematic cooperatives belonging to individuals, aka fraud under the guise of cooperatives," he said.

Budi Arie said that the refund process for KSP Intidana members had been completed through the provisions that had been agreed in a member meeting.

Meanwhile, the remaining seven lists of other problematic cooperatives, continued Budi, are also in the stage of completion. However, he could not confirm when it would be completed.

"The rest is waiting for the completion. Our job at the Kemenkop is how to get this problematic cooperative to solve it quickly, don't be adrift. Pity the people who are harmed," said Budi.

He hopes that what has been done by KSP Intidana will become a role model for other problematic cooperatives. Thus, the cooperative problem can be resolved by its own members. Realizing cooperatives as a support for Indonesian economic teachers.

Previously, KSP Intidana had an obligation (debt) to its members (borrowers) reaching Rp930 billion. In solving the problem today, the General Chairperson of KSP Intidana Darius Limantara revealed that he had made a payment of Rp240 billion.

"There is still around Rp690 billion left, which we will complete with the revitalization of asset based resolution (optimal asset resolution) in debt of around Rp300 billion and having assets of around Rp325 billion," Darius explained on the same occasion.

Darius also ensured that the completion of the payment of the obligation was carried out through a legal umbrella which was decided at the Annual Member Meeting (RAT) and based on an agreement with the members.

Where a total of 2,500 members of KSP Intidana are spread across five regions. Covering Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, Yogyakarta, and East Java.

"Everything is managed transparently. We believe everything can be resolved. Because the purpose of our cooperative is from members to the welfare of members," he said.

He was grateful that KSP Intidana had come out of the legal problem, and entered the realm of true operation. Through RAT, KSP Intidana has formed management, supervision, Advisory Board, together with stakeholders.

"We are committed to advancing KSP Intidana to be victorious again. Following the regulations from the Ministry of Cooperatives to enter the era of digitizing cooperatives," he said.
