JAKARTA - The Ministry of SOEs through Perum Perumnas is committed to carrying out 100 Working Days of the Prabowo-Gibran Government by supporting the program of 3 million houses, one of which is through the achievement of residential development with a Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) concept in big cities and surrounding areas.

President Director of Perumnas Budi Saddewa Soediro said that as a form of commitment to increasing the added value and accessibility of residential areas in Parung Panjang, Bogor, Perumnas together with PT KAI, the Ministry of SOEs, and the Ministry of Transportation planned the implementation of ground breaking Lumpang Station in the first quarter of 2025.

The development of the first landed housing with the TOD concept was marked by the Lumpang Station development plan located inside the Samesta Parayasa housing area. This station will become an integral part of the development of residential areas as an effort to improve the quality of life of the surrounding community.

"Samesta Parayasa is not only a residence, but also a solution to improve the quality of life of the community by presenting integrated public transportation access. We together with related parties, such as PT KAI, are committed to building a green concept station in Lumpang Parayasa," Budi said in a statement in Jakarta, quoted by Antara, Friday, January 24.

Lumpang Station is projected to accommodate 5,160 passengers per day, in the first year of operation with the Tanah Abang-Rangkas Bitung Station line relationship.

Furthermore, he said that in the future the development of the Samesta Parayasa Area would certainly require support from various relevant stakeholders, including the government.

Not only in the construction and development of stations, but also other supporting facilities, so that government support is highly appreciated.

With full support from the government and the commitment of Perumnas in the development of Lumpang Station and the Samesta Parayasa Area, it is hoped that it can be a breakthrough in the provision of TOD-based landed housing in Indonesia.

This project not only provides benefits for the surrounding community, but is also a step forward in creating a sustainable pattern of housing and transportation.

In addition to developing three TOD-concepted highside housing in Jabodetabek, Perumnas is now innovating again by developing the first TOD-concept landed residence in Indonesia with a green concept at Samesta Parayasa Parung Panjang, Bogor.
