ASDP And Pelni's Steps To Counter Ticket Brokers During The Christmas And New Year Period

Sea transportation SOEs PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) and PT Pelsero Nasional Indonesia (Persero) or Pelni prepare effective juiceurus to anticipate ticket brokers at ports during Christmas 2024 and New Year 2025.

President Director of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Heru Widodo said that one way to anticipate brokers is to no longer implement the direct ticket purchase system at ports.

Heru said ASDP tickets can only be purchased through the Ferizy application. He said the online ticket purchase system was implemented to anticipate the occurrence of vehicle queues at the port.

"Regarding brokers, if we from ASDP have online ticket services, Ferizy is the name. So we are no longer at the port, we will open the counter by going to the show. That is no longer there. Why do we do that system. Because we want to eliminate brokers, namely with online tickets," Heru said at a press conference at the Ministry of SOEs office, Jakarta, Thursday, December 19.

Heru said the existence of ticket brokers itself is still a joint homework (PR). Even so, he believes that online systems through Ferizy or other counters can eliminate ticket brokers.

"Indeed, this broker is our common homework, but I am sure that in the future with our good system, then the firmness of our partners, of course, this broker will gradually decrease. Moreover, we have all online tickets that we have purchased online," he said.

Heru also reminded people who want to travel on the 2024 Christmas and 2025 New Year holidays to prepare everything well. Starting from tickets, vehicle conditions to excellent physical conditions.

"Please pay attention to the physical condition and the vehicle. Make sure you are physically ready because we cannot fight this extreme weather, but we will condition it," he said.

Meanwhile, Pelni President Director Tri Andayani said that with online ticket sales, it is certain that there will be no brokers.

Because, he said, he already has an integration service with Pelindo.

"For our candidates at Pelni, there is already an integration service between Pelni and Pelindo, where their tickets already use auto pins to enter our terminal and all terminals are like that. So that the ticket seller brokers are no longer there," you said.
