JAKARTA - Bank Indonesia (BI) stated that it has prepared IDR 152.14 trillion of money to anticipate the needs during Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr 2021.

Head of BI's Money Management Department Marlison Hakim said the number increased by 39.33 percent compared to the same period last year.

"The amount of realization of withdrawal in 2020 amounted to IDR 109.2 trillion", he said in a webinar on Payment System Readiness in Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, Wednesday, April 14.
