Sido Muncul Wins SNI Award 2024 For This Category

JAKARTA - PT Industri Jamu Dan Pharmacy Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO) won the 2024 SNI Award. This award was held in Jakarta, last Thursday, November 21.

Sido Muncul himself successfully won the SNI Award for the Silver Ranking for the category of the Large Organization for Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Health, Textile, Energy and Mineral Sector Products.

A total of 251 organizations from various sectors participated in the 2024 SNI Award.

In total there are 69 organizations that won awards through strict selection, and one of them is Sido Muncul which was represented by Daryanto as Quality Assurance / Mutu Assurance in Sido Muncul.

"This SNI Award is an inspiring achievement and is proof of Sido Muncul's dedication in presenting quality, innovative, and reliable products for Indonesia," Daryanto said in a statement, quoted on Sunday, December 1.

The SNI Award is a form of government appreciation for the consistency of the implementation of the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) by business actors and organizations, which are able to achieve superior and sustainable performance.

Chairman of the 2024 SNI Award Jury, Hariyadi B. Sukamdani in his statement said the SNI Award assessment focuses on organizational contributions in the standardization and assessment of suitability and sustainability aspects (sustainability), digitalization, circular economy, as well as ESG governance (Environmental, Social, and Governance).

Head of the National Standardization Agency (SNI), Kukuh S. Achmad in his speech said that the implementation of SNI is expected to be able to strengthen the competitiveness of national business and industrial actors by implementing best practices to increase efficiency.

In addition, the implementation of SNI also improves the quality and safety of the products produced so that they can open new markets, as well as opportunities to adopt new technology to increase production volume.

The implementation of SNI not only helps business actors improve efficiency and product quality, but also strengthens their position in the international market. This is part of our support to realize the national economic growth target of 8% as stated in the Presidential Cita Asta," said Head of the National Standardization Agency (SNI), Kukuh S. Achmad.
