Minister Ara Says There Will Be A Groundbreaking Program Of 3 Million Houses In December, This Is The Leak

JAKARTA - Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PK) Maruarar Sirait or Ara said that he would continue laying the first stone or groundbreaking program of 3 million houses in December 2024.

This is a continuation of the groundbreaking which was previously carried out in early November 2024, in the Tangerang area, Banten, by cooperating with Agung Sedayu Group owned by Sugianto Kusuma alias Aguan.

Ara said, from the results of discussions with conglomerates, the groundbreaking will be held in several Kalimantan areas.

"Next month, pray that I will attend or my staff assign staff to attend two groundbreakings in East Kalimantan and South Kalimantan," said Ara at Rusunawa Pasar Rumput, Manggarai, South Jakarta, Thursday, November 28.

"(Who is the entrepreneur?) East Kalimantan PT Berau Coal Energy (BRAU), for South Kalimantan PT Adaro (ADRO). Why are they there? Because the mine is there," he continued.

According to Ara, this is one of the spirits of mutual cooperation from large companies in the country to help realize houses to Low-Income Communities (MBR).

"So in my opinion, the KPI as a public official should not make it difficult for the people, but make it easier for the people. (Make) cheap costs. For which? For small people, yes," he said.

He added that there are six large companies in the country that are ready to support the program of 3 million houses made by President Prabowo Subianto.

"There are 6 conglomerates that have committed, yes, to build people's houses and that is not for sale, but for distribution," he said.
