JAKARTA - LOTTE Group held a sporting event entitled 'LOTTE Future Champions Badminton Challenge', a program held to support young badminton talents in Indonesia.
During the five episodes aired on GTV, both teams, named Change Today and Create Tomorrow, in accordance with the slogan LOTTE Group, received physical, technical, and mental training for badminton sports by 2 coaches who are Indonesian badminton legends, namely Debby Susanto and Candra Wijaya.
The two teams also participated in various challenges with prizes such as individual Supersmash Challenge challenges and team challenges such as the Physical Power Challenge won by the Create Tomorrow team, the Technical Triumph Challenge won by the Create Tomorrow team, the Mental Mastery Challenge won by the Change Today team, and the LOTTE Box Match Challenge won by the Create Tomorrow team.
"The games that we play are very exciting and very tense because we want to win and get a lot of prizes. Our team finally wins again so we get lots of LOTTE Mart shopping vouchers, we can buy a lot," said Davyan Fadly Ramadhan, one of the participants from the Create Tomorrow team, in his statement, Monday, November 25.
After the training and minigame sessions were over, the two teams plunged into the main badminton tournament where they would compete to become champions in the men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, and women's doubles categories. The tournament, which took place in two rounds, namely semifinals and grand finals, was finally swept away by the Change Today team where they won all categories.
"It feels really bad to be able to win, I am very grateful. I am also very proud of my team who can win in four categories. It's like playing the Create Tomorrow team because previously they dominated minigames," said Nikita, the women's singles player from the Change Today team.
