PIS Rokan And Natuna Tankers Ready For National Energy Distribution Ahead Of Christmas And New Year

PT Pertamina International Shipping (PIS) strengthens its fleet with the presence of PIS Rokan and PIS Natuna. These two tanker fleets are prepared to maintain smooth supply and distribution of fuel, especially ahead of the Christmas and New Year 2025 holidays.

"The need for fuel in the community will usually increase," said PIS Corporate Secretary Muhammad Baron, Thursday, November 21.

These two ships, continued Baron, are small tankers that will be optimized to strengthen the reliability of fuel distribution, especially in Eastern Indonesia, including Nusa Tenggara, Papua, and Maluku.

In detail, the PIS Rokan and Natuna ships have technical specifications that support the needs of domestic fuel distribution, with a carrying capacity of up to 6,245 Cbm, a ship length of 99,90 meters, a draft of 5.7 meters, and a total transport capacity (DWT) of 4,990 tons.

He said the addition of this fleet was also in line with Asta Cita for national energy security.

"Maintaining the security of domestic fuel supply, as well as ensuring the smooth flow of energy distribution so that people can enjoy the long holiday period safely and comfortably," said Baron.
