Beware of Traffic Jams, Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road Undergoing Repairs Until Next Week

JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga Tbk (JSMR) announced that it will repair roads and bridges as well as reconstruct roads and dismantle toll gates on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road on Saturday, November 9 starting at 09.00 WIB until Sunday, November 17 at 12.00 WIB.

Senior Manager Representative Office 1 Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) Amri Sanusi said that the road repairs and dismantling of the toll road were in order to meet the Minimum Service Standards (SPM).

"We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the work in question," he said in a written statement, quoted Monday, November 11.

He said that his party had prepared mitigation procedures, including diverting affected traffic before the work area, narrowing the work area, preparing contraflow if traffic conditions are heavy and coordinating with the Highway Patrol Police (PJR) and PT Jasamarga Tollroad Operator (JMTO) in traffic management.

"To ensure that this information is well received by road users, PT JTT has also socialized the work plan by installing outdoor media in the form of work appeal banners and Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road towards Jakarta and Cikampek," he said.

Amri appealed to all road users to anticipate their journey, ensure that their vehicles are in prime condition, have sufficient electronic money balances, and fill up with fuel before starting their journey.

Always be careful and obey the signs, especially around the work location.

"Jasa Marga Group toll road traffic information can be accessed through the 24-hour One Call Center at 14080 and the Travoy 4.3 application for iOS and Android users," he added.

The details of the dates and locations of road works on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road are as follows:

1. Saturday, November 9 at 09.00 WIB to Wednesday, November 13 at 14.00 WIB there is a bridge repair at KM 62+720 towards Jakarta outer shoulder.

2. Monday, November 11 at 08.00 WIB to Saturday, November 16 at 14.00 WIB there is a road reconstruction at KM 33+634 to KM 33+369 towards Jakarta Lane 1 and Lane 2.

3. Monday, November 11 at 19.00 WIB to Sunday, November 17 at 12.00 WIB there is a demolition of the former Cikarang Utama 3 Toll Gate KM 28+800 to KM 29 +600 towards Jakarta outer shoulder and lane 3.
