Solo Toll Road Klaten Starts Tariff Today

JAKARTA - The Yogyakarta YIA Kulon Progo Solo Toll Road Section 1 of the Paperura 'Claten segment will officially take a tariff tomorrow, Friday, November 8, 2024 starting at 24.00 WIB.

Previously, this 22.3 kilometer (km) toll road had been operated without tariff or free since September 20, 2024.

President Director of PT Jasamarga Jogja Solo (JMJ) Rudy Hardiansyah said the tariff was carried out in accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) No. 2816/KPTS/2024 dated October 18, 2024 concerning the Determination of the Type of Motor Vehicles and the Rate of Toll Tariffs on the Solo Yogyakarta YIA Kulon Progo toll road segment of the Kartasura-Klaten segment.

"As of Friday, November 8, 2024 at 24.00 WIB, the Yogyakarta YIA Kulon Progo (Jogja 'Solo) Solo Toll Road segment of the Kartasura' Klaten managed by PT Jasamarga Jogja Solo (JMJ) will apply tariffs," said Rudy in his official statement, Thursday, November 7.

Rudy said this step is a form of certainty of investment returns for Toll Road Business Entities (BUJT) according to the business plan, building and maintaining a conducive toll road investment climate in Indonesia and maintaining and increasing the level of service for toll road users.

Meanwhile, to ensure that the public receives information properly, PT JMJ cooperates with the Ministry of Public Works (PU) and the Toll Road Management Agency (BPJT) to conduct socialization through various communication media.

The form of socialization is done through print media, online media, electronic media, social media and outdoor media such as banners & Variable Message Sign (VMS).

In addition, said Rudy, his party has also carried out stages of socialization according to applicable regulations, including high levels of meetings with local governments and conducting Focus Group Discussions (FGD) with stakeholders.

"In principle, everyone can understand and support the implementation of the Solo 'Yogyakarta' Toll Road tariff YIA Kulon Progo segment Kartasura This content is in accordance with the government's decision that has been made," he said.

Meanwhile, based on the furthest tariff, class I vehicles will be charged a tariff of IDR 42,500, class II & III vehicles of IDR 63,500 and class IV & V vehicles of IDR 84,500.

To note, the Yogyakarta YIA Kulon Progo Solo Toll Road Section 1 of the Kartasura 'Claten segment has been inaugurated by the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) on Thursday, September 19, 2024.
