JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir officially appointed Mochamad Iriawan alias Iwan Bule as President Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero) as of today.
This appointment was decided through the Pertamina General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS).
The decisions of the GMS are contained in SK-258/MBU/11/2024 and SK-259/MBU/11/2024 concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of Members of the Board of Commissioners and Directors of the Company (Persero) PT Pertamina.
Iwan Bule was appointed to replace Simon Aloysius Mantiri, who in the GMS was appointed as President Director of Pertamina. In addition, Dony Oskaria was also appointed as Deputy President Commissioner, and Raden Adjeng Sondaryani as Independent Commissioner.
Vice President of Corporate Communication of PT Pertamina (Persero), Fadjar Djoko Santoso explained that the appointment and dismissal of BUMN directors and commissioners including Pertamina is the authority of the Government as a shareholder represented by the Minister of SOEs.
"The change of company leadership is a normal and reasonable process as the existing provisions," said Fadjar in an official statement, Monday, November 4.
