PLN Successfully Secured Electric Akmil Magelang During Minister's Retreat

PT PLN (Persero) managed to secure electricity supply in Magelang Military Amademi during the Red and White Cabinet Retreat initiated by President Prabowo Subianto.

Previously, PLN had carried out four-layer electricity security and coordinated with all relevant stakeholders.

General Manager of PLN Central Java and DI Yogyakarta Distribution Main Unit, Sugeng Widodo, detailed that PLN implemented a four-layer electricity security scheme for Cabinet Retreat.

"In this case, PLN operates 1 supply of main electricity auctioners, 1 backup auctioneer, 148 Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and 31 Genset units," he said in a statement to the media quoted Monday, October 28.

In terms of personnel, he said PLN Group also deployed 180 special-certified and equipped with complete equipment. These personnel secure the reliability of supplies for all major venues such as the Akmil complex, hotels where committee inns, hospitals, airports and government offices in Magelang.

In addition, his party also installed 3 units of Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (SPKLU) of 60 kiloWatts (kW), 50 Kilo Watt, and 22 KW type AC at the Akmil Golf Course point as a means of supporting electric vehicle charging.

"We have and continue to collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to prepare electricity supply security and supporting facilities for this event since early October 2024. We are grateful that the electricity supply has run smoothly so that the Red and White Cabinet Retreat agenda takes place solemnly and all invited guests can feel comfortable while in Magelang City," said Sugeng.
