JAKARTA - The Ministry of Transportation through the Directorate General of Land Transportation held a Cross-Ministerial Coordination Meeting/Institutions to prepare plans for the 2024/2025 Christmas and New Year transportation operations.

Director General of Land Transportation, Inspector General of Police Risyapudin Nursin said this coordination meeting was needed as a consideration for policies during the Christmas and New Year 2024/2025 holidays.

According to Risyapudin, with this coordination meeting, it is hoped that information updates from each stakeholder can be obtained regarding their readiness to welcome this Christmas and New Year holiday.

Ahmad Yani said his party would also conduct safety inspections through a rampcheck of public transport vehicles with a target of 10,000 vehicles which will start from November 6 to December 20, 2024 at Type A Terminals in collaboration with the Land Transportation Management Center and also the local Transportation Service.
