JAKARTA - PLN Primary Indonesia Subholding (PLN EPI) ensures that the supply of primary energy to PLN Group plants is in a safe condition ahead of the 2024 Presidential inauguration, including for coal shipments, fuel oil (BBM) and gas supply to power plants.

The President Director of PLN EPI, Iwan Agung Firstantara, explained that electricity supply for the community was also ensured to be safe during the inauguration of the President in 2024.

"Currently, the condition of the generator is in a sufficient position with an average HOP of 28 days of coal," said Iwan in a statement in Jakarta, Saturday.

Iwan detailed that the HOP of power plants in the Jamali Regional (Java-Madura-Bali) on average the HOP (power operation day) reached 25.4 days, while in Sumkal (Sumatra-Kalimantan) it reached 18.7 days.

Especially for Sulmapana (Sulawesi-Maluku-Papua-Nusa Tenggara) even the HOP can reach 31.8 days.

"Not only coal, PLN EPI also ensures that gas and fuel supplies for power plants are met according to the schedule for primary energy delivery," said Iwan.

PLN EPI continues to coordinate with PLN Indonesia Power Subholding and PLN Nusantara Power so that generator operations related to primary energy throughout Indonesia do not experience problems during the 2024 Presidential inauguration.

Iwan hopes that all efforts made by PLN EPI will be able to provide a multiplier effect not only for the Company but also for the sustainability of the community.

"With the assurance of the primary energy supply, the operation of the plant will be safer and able to deliver reliable electricity to the community," said Iwan.
