BBKFK Ministry Of Industry Records Revenue Reaches IDR 9.8 Billion Until October 2024

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Industry's Center for Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Packaging (BBKFK) noted that revenue until October 2024 reached Rp9.8 billion. This figure increased by 100.12 percent from the target set in 2024.

"Income from 2024 to October has reached Rp9.8 billion or reached 100.12 percent of the target set in 2024," said BBKFK Head Siti Rohmah Siregar on the 2024 BBKFK Media Gathering agenda at the Pullman Hotel, Jakarta, Thursday, October 17.

Siti said the largest revenue came from testing technical services, which was 60.78 percent. Then followed by revenue from the 29.20 percent certification service.

"Furthermore, it is from a calibration service of 3.54 percent and followed by technical training, consultation, verification of the domestic component level (TKDN), optimization of industrial technology and testing of efficiency," he said.

He added that until now the number of customers who have been served by BBKFK has reached 1,200 people. "This condition when compared to the same month in 2023 there was an increase of 9.29 percent or around 102 companies," he said.

In order to improve its services, said Siti, the management of BBKFK financial governance, which was originally in the form of non-tax state revenue (PNBP), has now shifted to the Public Service Agency (BLU) since July 2023.

According to Siti, BLU status in BBKFK provides flexibility in the management of the work unit budget. Thus, it can provide opportunities for increased technical services according to the core business by more optimally to customers without dependence on the funds provided by the government or pure rupiah.

"It is hoped that in the next few years, BBKFK will be able to become an independent BLU," he said.

Meanwhile, to ensure the provision of the best quality services, BBKFK has also implemented various quality management systems, namely the quality management system according to SNI ISO 9001 2015, the anti-pensive management system according to SNI ISO 37001 and the laboratory management system according to SNI ISO 17025.

Then, the competency requirements for product certification institutions according to SNI ISO 17065, the competency requirements of the quality management system certification institution according to SNI ISO 17021 and the competency requirements of the provincial test agency according to SNI ISO 17043.
