PT Akulaku Finance Indonesia Appoints Perry Barman Slangor As President Director

JAKARTA - PT Akulaku Finance Indonesia has officially appointed Perry Barman Slangor as President Director. Perry fills the role previously held by the previous President Director, Efrinal Sinaga, who resigned to pursue new challenges and opportunities in his career.

PT Akulaku Finance Indonesia appreciates the loyalty and dedication of Efrinal Sinaga which has played an important role in helping companies achieve exponential growth during their term of office. These achievements will be an important reference for companies to continue to encourage future growth.

The determination of Perry Barman Slangor as President Director of PT Akulaku Finance Indonesia is one of the binding decisions contained in the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders from the Company which was held on September 26, 2024.

The meeting also accompanied the appointment of Meyli Rita Rahmayanti Siburian as Director of Compliance. Meyli Rita Rahmayanti Siburian has joined PT Akulaku Finance Indonesia since August 2023 by taking on her duties as Head of Compliance. On the occasion of a separate General Meeting of Shareholders, PT Akulaku Finance Indonesia has also appointed Edy Salim as Director of Information Technology.

With the new leadership ranks, PT Akulaku Finance Indonesia is committed to strengthening technological innovation and expanding inclusive financial access to provide a better user experience, as well as ensuring good governance principles and strengthening the culture of compliance with regulatory regulations.

Perry Barman Slangor is an experienced executive with a strong background in the fields of business and finance.

He completed a Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1993 and then won a Master of Business Administration from Cleveland State University in 1995.

With an experience of about two decades in the financial sector, Perry has occupied a number of strategic positions in various well-known companies.

Perry Barman Slangor has joined PT Akulaku Finance Indonesia since April 2024 as the Compliance Director who leads compliance and legal functions to ensure the company maintains harmony with the applicable legal framework.
