BP Tapera Targeted To Distribute FLPP Funds Worth IDR 21.6 Trillion This Year

JAKARTA - BP Tapera is targeted to distribute 166,000 housing units of Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) worth IDR 21.6 trillion this year.

Currently, BP Tapera has succeeded in disbursing 151,902 housing units worth Rp18.56 trillion.

As of September 24, 2024, BP Tapera has disbursed 4,036 housing financing funds worth IDR 708.31 billion for Tapera participants.

In a press release on Friday, September 28, this figure was spread across 33 provinces covering 390 districts/cities, and 37 distribution banks were distributed and built by 6,880 developers in 10,325 housing.

If you look at the 2024 target of 8,717 housing units, people will still have the opportunity to take advantage of this Tapera housing financing.

One of the beneficiaries of the Tapera financing, Nurhadi Saputro, a civil servant from the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) expressed his happiness for the benefits he received in 2023.

"I am happy because I finally got a decent house for our family. This program is very helpful and I want other civil servants who do not have a home to take advantage of this program," he said.

Furthermore, Nurhadi Saputro also said that the submission process was also very fast, namely only two months.

"This housing is very meaningful and I am grateful because the house application process is very easy. The interest is flat and the installments are very affordable. The amount of monthly installments is almost the same as the cost of rent," he said.

Not only for civil servants, BP Tapera also distributes housing financing for the general public through the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) program.

As the government investment operator that is mandated in managing FLPP funds, BP Tapera seeks to provide optimal service to the community in terms of distribution of subsidized housing financing. One of them is by seeking to increase the FLPP quota by 34,000 housing units from the set target.

"BP Tapera has overseen the process of increasing the FLPP quota and is currently in the technical process of disbursing DIPA by the Ministry of Finance. We expect support from all BP Tapera partners, especially banks and developer associations to continue to synergize in helping to realize habitable and affordable housing for the community," said BP Tapera Commissioner Heru Pudyo Nugroho.

Furthermore, Heru also appreciated the participation of banks and also developer associations in terms of fulfilling the target of distributing subsidized housing financing for low-income people or MBR.

"BP Tapera appreciates fellow banks and developer associations for their contribution so far in achieving BP Tapera's target for housing financing. Through this synergy, we hope that the housing financing program in reducing the number of house ownership backlogs in Indonesia can be realized optimally," he added.
