Nine Regional Roads In Bangka Belitung Rampung Improved, Total Budget Of IDR 294.3 Billion

BELITUNG - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) has completed nine handling roads through the Regional Road Presidential Instruction (Inpres) in Bangka Belitung Province using the 2023 fiscal year (TA).

The total budget allocation for handling nine roads in the area reached Rp294.3 billion.

"The IJD for Bangka Belitung province, we got about nine packages of activities. The total is around Rp. 2-984 billion," said Head of the Bangka Belitung National Road Implementation Agency of the Directorate General of Highways Arief Syarif Hidayat to reporters while checking Jalan Aik Mungkul-Bulutbang in Tanjung Pandan, Belitung Regency, Friday, September 27.

Arief said that the Regional Road Instruction or IJD aims to increase the absorption of regional roads.

"I convey that the thematic is the first possible accessibility of plantation, agricultural and tourism areas. Well, in Bangka there are 5 packages then in Belitung 4 (package)," he said.

In detail, the implementation of the national road for the first region of Bangka Belitung Province includes rehabilitation of the reconstruction of Jalan Payung-Air Bara in South Bangka Regency along 10 kilometers (km), rehabilitation of Jalan Lubuk Besar-B2 in Central Bangka Regency for 3.43 km and rehabilitation of Toboal-Serdang Road reconstruction in South Bangka Regency for 23.32 km.

Then, rehabilitation of the Terak-Sp Road reconstruction. The airport in Central Bangka Regency is 6.67 km long and rehabilitation of the Mancung-Belit Road reconstruction in West Bangka Regency is 5.38 km long.

Next, the implementation of the national road for the second region of Bangka Belitung Province which includes the reconstruction of Jalan Cendil-Tg. Pulas in East Belitung Regency is 7.9-0 km long, reconstruction of the Nasik-Pasir Panjang Strait Road in Belitung Regency is 3.18 km long, rehabilitation of the reconstruction of Jalan Manggar-Tj Modong-Gantung in East Belitung Regency along 18.53 km and rehabilitation of Jalan Aik Mungkul-Bulutbang (Belitung Airport) in Belitung Regency along 3.48 km.

Thus, the total length of the repaired regional roads reached 81.8-nine km.
