JAKARTA - Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning (ATR)/Head of the National Land Agency (BPN) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) said that 117.9 million land parcels had been registered and had an economic value of Rp. 6,721 trillion.

"As of September 2024, the Ministry of ATR/BPN has been able to register 117.9 million plots of land by producing an increase in economic value of Rp. 6,721 trillion," AHY said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, September 24.

AHY revealed that the achievement was obtained through the Complete Systematic Land Registration program (PTSL).

"Alhamdulillah, we were able to accelerate land registration, from the original achievement of 46 million registered land parcels in 2017, to 117.9 million registered land parcels until September 2024 or an increase of 250 percent in the last seven years," he said.

According to him, the PTSL program, which has been run from 2017, contributed to the added economic value of the community from the circulation of value generated through Income Tax (PPh), Land and Building Rights Acquisition Fee (BPHTB), Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP), and Responsibility Rights.

"Of course, we hope that this added value can make a positive contribution to the business climate in Indonesia with a common goal, namely to prosper the people of Indonesia," explained the Minister of ATR.

He said that with the increasing number of registered land, the complete number of regencies/cities also continued to increase. To date, as many as 33 regencies/cities have been declared as Complete Regencies/Cities.

A district/city can be said to be complete if all land parcels have been mapped and spatially complete no gap no overlap.

With this status, local governments can take advantage of the complete Regency/City map, to become the basis or baseline in planning regional development and forming future policies.

He hopes that the provincial and district/city governments will continue to support the Ministry of ATR/BPN in the implementation of land registration.

"Not only through PTSL, but also includes certification of state-owned assets/regional property (BMN/BMD) for the realization of a clean and good government, good and clean governance," concluded AHY.
