JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental (PTK) together with PT Pertamina International Shipping (PIS), in collaboration with the Environmental Service (DLH) of Kulon Progo Regency managed to collect 28 tons of garbage in the Coastal Clean Up action or cleaning up garbage at Trisik Muara Progo Beach, Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta on Saturday, September 21.

Also cooperating with the Pandawara Group as an influencer as well as a content creator who actively campaigns for environmental issues, this waste net activity has succeeded in mobilizing various elements of society as many as 1000 people. The community consists of elementary school students, college students, environmental care communities, Jeep Community, TNI/Polri and the general public who are enthusiastic about cleaning up Muara Progo's Trisik Beach.

This Coastal Clean Up is a form of Social and Environmental Responsibility that focuses on coastal conservation and a form of the company's commitment to supporting the 14th point Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on preserving and utilizing marine resources and oceans in a sustainable manner. Domestic waste is managed directly by the Kulon Progo DLH, while organic waste is managed by the Trisik Beach Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) for daily needs. In this activity, PTK also provides assistance to the Trisik Beach Pokdarwis in the form of cleaning facilities.
