Weave Subsidiary Surge Gandeng 50 Local ISPs Expand Internet Access Infrastructure Reach

JAKARTA - PT Solusi Sinergi Digital Tbk or Surge (WIFI) through its subsidiary PT Integration Network Ecosystem (Weave), has signed a collaboration with internet service providers.

This collaboration includes the provision of telecommunications services which include Backbone, Core rental, network capacity, and collocation meeting provided by Weave in strategic locations, especially supporting internet access infrastructure to the community.

Surge (WIFI) continues to focus on expanding the telecommunications infrastructure segment and developing a digital ecosystem in Indonesia. Until now, the company has operated a 7,000 km fiber optic backbone infrastructure along the railway line and other lines on the island of Java.

In addition, the company has invested in the provision of large-capacity bandwidth of up to 64,000 Gbps. To support the development of Cloud Computing, the company has also built and operated 58 Edge Data Centers (EDCs) spread across various cities on the island of Java, with the potential for an increase of up to 592 locations. Currently, the company's Edge Data Center is used by the ISP for colocation and Content Delivery Network (CDN) solutions for Cloud service providers.

As previously known, Pertamina Gas Negara (PGN) has officially collaborated with Surge (WIFI) and its subsidiary PT Integration Network Ecosystem (Weave) in the Development of Gas Pipeline Networks and the Provision of ICT Services for Household and Commercial Sectors for 2.5 million households.

In addition, the Company has also completed the first phase of building 200 Thousand local homepasses for the ISP (Internet Service Provider). Currently, the Company is also completing cooperation with operators in building 1 million fixed internet connection homepasses (Fixed Broadband).

The company has collaborated with Nokia as a strategic partner in providing end-to-end network connectivity, which aims to provide reliable, high-speed, and affordable internet services to 25 million households on the island of Java, which will then expand to other islands in Indonesia.

Currently, PT Integration Network Ecosystems also has around 200 partners and clients both in the telecommunications industry, including NTT Indonesia, Starlink Service Indonesia, My Republic, Lightstorm, Huawei Cloud, Together with the Digital Data Center (BDDC), Trans Hybrid Communication, Pertamina Gas Negara, Indosat Singapore, Lintas Arta, My Republic, Asianet and others.

Surge CEO Yune Marketamo explained that this strategic collaboration is part of his party's commitment to strengthening the digital ecosystem in Indonesia by providing reliable and affordable internet access infrastructure for the community.

"With the support of more than 50 local ISPs and the advantages of the Weave infrastructure we have, we are optimistic that this collaboration will be able to provide quality internet connectivity for 25 million houses on the island of Java and development outside Java," said Yune.
