Towards The End Of Office, Jokowi Reminds Ministers To Maintain The Purchasing Power Of The Indonesian Community And Economy

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) asked all Ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet to ensure that the situation remains conducive and maintain people's purchasing power, inflation and economic growth.

"We must be able to maintain people's purchasing power, maintain inflation, maintain growth, maintain security, maintain order," he said at a cabinet meeting, Friday, September 13.

Therefore, Jokowi said not to make extreme policies, especially those that can cause turmoil and harm the community.

"Don't make extreme policies, especially those related to the interests of many people, which have the potential to harm the wider community, which has the potential to cause turmoil," he said.

Furthermore, Jokowi also advised all his staff to support the program of President-Elect Prabowo Subianto and asked to pay attention to what is needed in the upcoming government.

"We all have to fully support the President-elected program," he said.

Jokowi conveyed that one of them was related to the transition so that it would run effectively and including regulatory issues in policy formulation in supporting the flagship program of President Prabowo Subianto.

"Make sure the government transition is effective. If new regulations are needed, if necessary, the formulations of policies that must be made immediately, will be made immediately and immediately resolved, especially for the President-elected flagship programs," he said.

Jokowi added that the next government could run smoothly and could immediately work quickly.

"So that after being inaugurated, the government can immediately work and run fast," he said.
