Fish Milk Is An Alternative In Prabowo MBG Program, Head Of The National Nutrition Agency: All The Good We Accommodate

JAKARTA - Head of the National Nutrition Agency Dadan Hindayana opened his voice regarding the circulating news regarding the use of fish milk to be an alternative to cow's milk in the free nutritious food program (MBG) in the government of the elected President Prabowo Subianto.

Dadan said that his party did not know the news circulating regarding alternative use of fish milk to fulfill the free milk program.

Even so, his party will continue to accommodate and consider the possibilities.

"I don't know who said it, yes. We will accommodate everything that is good, but we will see. (Currently) we haven't gone that way," Dadan said when met at the DPR RI Building, Tuesday, September 10.

Dadan said that his party had no plans to use fish milk in fulfilling the free milk program quota.

"No, we haven't gone in that direction (fish sauce)," he explained.

In line with this in fulfilling the free milk program quota, Dadan said that he would import dairy cows in the future to support the president-elected program so that Indonesia can self-sufficiency in cow's milk in the long term.

"In the long term we import cows, so that Indonesia in the future will self-sufficiency in milk. (The number) asks the Ministry of Agriculture, gradually," he said.
