34 Infrastructure Projects Will Be Worked Using PPP In 2025, Here Are The Details

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) targets as many as 34 projects to be implemented through the Government Cooperation with Business Entity (PPP) scheme using the 2025 budget.

"A total of 14 KPBU projects are in the water resources (SDA) sector, 10 road and bridge sector KPBU projects, 7 residential sector KPBU projects and 3 housing sector KPBU projects," said Director General of PUPR Infrastructure Financing Triono Junoasmono, quoted from his written statement, Wednesday, September 4.

Triono also detailed the PUPR projects.

In the SDA sector, which is currently in the preparation stage of 3 projects with an estimated investment value of IDR 10.78 trillion, namely the construction of the Jambo Aye Irrigation Area (DI) in North Aceh and East Aceh, Aceh, Lambakan Dam in Paser Regency, East Kalimantan and Cidanau Dam in Serang Regency, Banten.

"Meanwhile, the transaction stages in the SDA sector are 12 projects with an investment value of IDR 32.11 trillion, including the construction of the Bodri Dam in Kendal, Central Java, KPBU Merangin Dam Development in Merangin, Jambi and KPBU development in Lhok Guci in West Aceh, Aceh," he said.

There is also the stage of the electricity buying and selling agreement at PT PLN (Persero) for the SDA sector as many as 2 projects, namely the maintenance of dams and the provision of PLTM Bintang Bano infrastructure in West Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) and the provision of hydropower infrastructure at the Tiga Dihaji Dam in South OKU Regency, South Sumatra.

Next in the field of roads and bridges that are still in the preparation stage, namely 7 toll road projects along 384.1 kilometers (km) with a value of Rp124.02 trillion.

The seven projects are the Ciranjang-Padalarang Toll Road in West Java, Bandung Intra Urban Toll Road in West Java, Pejagan-Cilacap Toll Road in Central Java, Malang-Kepanjen Toll Road in East Java, Demak-Tuban Toll Road in Central Java and East Java, Pluit-Bandara Toll Road (Toll Road Section Tomang-Pluit-Bandara (elEVed)) in Jakarta and Cilegon-Anyer Toll Road in Banten.

"For those who are already in the transaction stage in 2025 in the road and bridge sectors, there are 3 toll road projects along 265.5 km with an investment value of IDR 91.99 trillion, namely the Gedebage-Tasikmalaya-Ciamis Toll Road in West Java, Gilimanuk-Menguwi Toll Road in Bali and Sentul Selatan-West Karawang Toll Road in West Java," explained Triono.

Then in the residential area, which is still in the preparation stage as many as 4 projects, namely KPBU Idle Capacity SPAM Pemali Juana Project in Semarang City, Central Java, SPAM Regional East Kalimantan in East Kalimantan, SPAM and SPAL KIKN in East Kalimantan and KPBU Management of Sei Gong Reservoir in Batam City and Rempang in the Riau Islands.

"As many as 3 transaction-ready projects in 2025 in the residential sector, namely SPAM Bitung City in North Sulawesi, SPAM Regional Lombok in West Nusa Tenggara and SPAM Regional Sindangheula-West Surian in Banten," he said.

Finally, in the housing sector, which is already in the transaction stage, there are two projects worth IDR 1.64 trillion, namely the revitalization of the Pasar Jumat-TOD Lebak Bulus flat in Jakarta and the construction of the Tambak Wedi Flat in Surabaya City, East Java.

"Meanwhile, one project is still in the preparation stage, namely the Surabaya City Flats in East Java Province," he added.
