4.1 Million Vehicles Verified And Transacting At Gas Stations Using QR Code

JAKARTA - Pertamina Patra Niaga noted, as many as 4,122,358 vehicle numbers as of September 2, 2024, had been verified and transacted at gas stations using a QR Code.

QR Code registration applies to four-wheeled vehicles.

"This effort was carried out by Pertamina Patra Niaga in a series of realizing the Right Subsidy and support for the Government's policy to regulate subsidized fuel users in the future," said Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary Heppy Wulansari as reported by ANTARA. press release, Tuesday.

The registration area for the Pertalite QR Code is carried out in stages. Currently, registration is focused on the areas of Java, Madura, Bali, and parts of the Riau Islands, NTT, Maluku, North Maluku, Gorontalo, North Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, Aceh, Bangka Belitung, Bengkulu and Timika Regencies.

"It is hoped that phase 1 can be reached 100 percent by the end of September 2024. The rest will be carried out in the second phase of the plan at the earliest October-November 2024," said Heppy.

Documents that need to be prepared to register are photos of ID cards, self-photos, STNK photos (appearing front and rear), photos of vehicles visible overall, photos of vehicles visible in front of police numbers and photos of KIR users' vehicles.

All documents must be ensured to be read clearly and sent in jpg photo format. In addition, the uploaded photo must be clear, not broken, and has a high resolution in order to facilitate the verification process.

"For Pertalite users who have not registered, it is hoped that they will immediately do so to ensure that the fuel subsidy is right on target," Heppy urged.
