Hermina Hospital Reveals Preparedness Ahead Of President And ASN Moving To IKN

JAKARTA - PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk (HEAL) revealed the readiness of the hospital to welcome the move of President Joko Widodo and the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) to the capital city of the archipelago (IKN) in September.

Director of Finance and Strategic Development Hermina Yulisar Khiat said, since August 17, 2024, Hermina Hospital at IKN is ready to accept patients who need surgery or ICU services.

"However, gradually, we will prepare 100 beds, because we heard that the President and ASN will move in September. So we are also preparing as of the end of September, the capacity is in accordance with the initial plan," he said in a Public Expose, Thursday, August 29.

Yulisar said, as the initial plan when the groundbreaking was carried out, in phase I of the construction of hospitals in IKN, his party would first prepare 100 units of four beds. Meanwhile, plenary services are the health of mothers and children.

"In the future, we are also asked to prepare a plenary session for cancer. However, for cancer there seems to be no need. However, for traumatological services, internal disease services, surgical services, and others, until level 2 we can serve all diseases," he said.

Regarding the cooperation with BPJS services, Yulisar said that his party had contacted BPJS Balikpapan and hoped to get cooperation approval this week.

"We hope that this week BPJS Balipapan will be willing to cooperate with Hermina Nusantara IKN so that we can fully serve patients who enter the Hermina Nusantara IKN hospital," he concluded.
