LG Launches New Smart Washing Machine With Bigger Capacity In IFA 2024

JAKARTA - LG Electronics (LG) is ready to launch its newest washing machine at the IFA 2024 (Internationale Funkaustellung Berlin 2024) event. The latest washing machine with a large extra capacity is equipped with Artificial Intelligence Direct DriveTM (AI DDTM) 2.0 technology and the Pet Care cycle so that it becomes easier and more efficient. IFA itself is an exhibition of global-level consumer electronics which will take place on September 6-10 in Berlin, Germany.

Expanding the use of the leading technology for minimal vibration (low vibration), LG will feature the first washing machine with a cylinder size of 25 inches (u.g. 63.5 cm) in diameter. With the tube size, this washing machine can process washing with a capacity of 20 kilograms1. In addition to capacity building, this one model is also equipped with AI technology to improve overall washing machine performance.

This excellent washing machine performance is supported by AI DD 2.0 innovations that use deep learning technology. The presence of this technology allows this sophisticated washing machine to automatically detect load weight, fabric softness, and clothing impurity levels. From the data obtained from these detections, the LG's latest front loading washing machine then applies 6MotionTM technology to choose optimal washing patterns to reduce fabric damage by up to 10 percent.

That way clothes become more durable and not quickly damaged. For pet owners, this washing machine also has a Pet Care cycle that presents high-temperature washing of up to 60 degrees Celsius with four cycles of warm water welding that effectively eliminates 99 percent of the smell of pets.

Not only that, there are still many other features and conveniences that make washing activities more efficient. The TurboWashTM 360 feature can reduce the duration of washing to only 39 minutes. The ezDispenseTM feature automatically regulates and secretes the right number of detergents when washing.

Washing machines can perform 39 washing cycles and automatically remember the most frequently used cycles and features so they save time and don't need to manually set settings every time washing. Users can also save and change washing machine settings by using the Cycle List Edit feature so that it can be adjusted to the user's washing habits.

This washing machine uses Inverter DirectDriveTM Motor LG, an essential technology developed by LG in a sustainable manner to produce minimal sound washing machines and lasts a long time, without having to sacrifice washing performance.
