JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) targets that the Solo-Klaten Toll Road, which is part of the Solo-Yogyakarta-YIA Kulon Progo Toll Road, can operate next September. Currently, the progress of the toll road has reached 97 percent.

Jasa Marga's Director of Business Development M. Agus Setiawan said the Solo-Yogyakarta Toll Road is one of five Jasa Marga toll roads that are in the construction process.

The five toll roads are the South Jakarta-Cikampek (Japek) II Toll Road, Patimban Access Toll Road, Solo-Yogyakarta-YIA Kulon Progo Toll Road, Yogyakarta-Bawen Toll Road, and Probolinggo-Besuki Toll Road.

"Now this Jogja-Solo is one of five toll roads that are currently in the construction process at Jasa Marga," he said at the Public Expose 2024, Wednesday, August 28.

He said the project being accelerated was the Solo-Klaten Toll Road which is part of the Solo-Yogyakarta Toll Road with a length of 22.30 kilometers (km).

"Well, God willing, we can finish it for this year, which is part of the Jogja-Solo Toll Road, namely the package from Kartasura or from Solo, yes, the Colomadu Toll Gate which is part of Trans Java reaches Klaten. So, it's 22.3 km long," he said.

Agus Setiawan said the toll road progress had reached 97 percent. He hopes that the toll road can operate in September 2024.

"Well, thank God, for this section, the progress has been more than 97 percent and we are currently submitting a process for a feasible test operation. Well, later the operation will certainly follow the stages set by the government. Then the operation process will of course be completed after everything is complete. And hopefully it can operate at the end of September," he said.

The Solo-Yogyakarta-YIA Kulon Progo toll road stretches along 96.57 km. This toll road consists of 3 sections.

Section 1 Kartosuro-Purwomartani along 42.38 km which is divided into Package 1 Solo-Klaten (22.3 km) and Package 2 Klaten-Purwomartani (20.08 km).

Section 2 of Purwomartani-Gamping along 23.43 km is divided into 2 packages, namely Package 2.1 Purwomartani- Monjali (9.43 km) and Package 2.2 Mongali-Gamping (14 km).

Then Section 3 Gamping-Purworejo along 30.77 km was divided into Packages 3.1 Gamping-Wates (17.45 km) and Packages 3.2 Wates-Purworejo (13.32 km).
