JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) (KAI) will host the 44th ASEAN Railway CEOs (ARCEOs' Conference) which will be held in Bandung, Indonesia on September 2-5, 2024.
KAI Commercial Director Hadith Surya Palapa as Chair of the Organization Committee ARCEOs Conference said the CEO's annual gathering event carried the theme "Driving Sustainability with Digital Innovation" and will discuss the development of sustainable and environmentally friendly railways, supported by digital transformation in terms of safety and service.
"KAI will show friendly countries how innovation was carried out by KAI. How is PT KAI's care as an operator regarding the sustainability of Indonesia's railway business," he said at a press conference, Wednesday, August 28.
Hadis said, on the same occasion, KAI as the Indonesian railway operator will showcase a number of innovations that have been implemented by KAI so far. Hadith also hopes that through this event, KAI can become a benchmark for rail operators in Southeast Asia.

Hadis detailed that this agenda will be attended by eight train operators throughout Southeast Asia, namely Tanah Melaysia (Malaysia), Vietnam Railways (Vietnam), Ministry of Public Works and Transport (Kamboja), Lao National Railways (Laos), Philippine National Railways (Philippines), Myanma Railways (Myanmar), State Railway of Thailand (Thailand), and PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) (Indonesia).
