InJourney Aims For Money Turnover At The Mandalika MotoGP Of More Than IDR 4.3 Trillion

JAKARTA - PT Aviasi Wisata Indonesia (Persero) or InJourney is aiming for a circulation of money during an international motorcycle racing event, MotoGP in Mandalika can reach more than IDR 4.3 trillion.

As is known, this international standard motorcycle racing event is the third time at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit. The event will be held from 27 to 29 September.

Director of Marketing and Tourism Program of PT Aviasi Wisata Indonesia (InJourney), Maya Watono, said that her party is optimistic that the economic impact of this year's world-class motorcycle racing event is higher than last year's similar event.

"We are optimistic that the contribution of MotoGPTM will continue to increase, after previously contributing Rp4.3 trillion in 2023," Maya said after a press conference, at the Sarinah Building, Jakarta, Monday, August 26.

Maya said Mandalika as a Super Priority Tourism Destination (DPSP) has the highest domestic tourist growth in 2023. InJourney also continues to strive to be able to present a wider and diverse audience.

"With inclusiveness through collaboration with all stakeholders, we hope to present a wider and diverse audience," he said.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia (MotoGPTM) 2024, Troy War Kuyas said the 2024 MotoGP will be an inclusive event, not only for sports motorcycle fans, but also for all groups.

"With the tagline Ignite Your Thrills MotoGP Mandalika this year, it will present a series of exciting and tense racing actions from MotoGP TM stars at the most beautiful circuit in the world, as well as side event festivals designed to attract enthusiasm from all levels of society with the appearance of well-known artists," said Troy.

Troy said with careful preparation and support from various parties, the Mandalika MotoGP not only presents world-class motorcycle racing, but is also a celebration of culture and entertainment.
