Angkasa Pura Indonesia Books Profit Of IDR 900 Billion In Semester I-2024

JAKARTA - PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (InJourney Airports) managed to record Net Profit of almost Rp900 billion in the first semester of 2024.

This figure exceeds 164 percent of the Company's Work Plan and Budget (RKAP) target of IDR 547 billion.

InJourney Airports is a subsidiary of PT Aviasi Wisata Indonesia or InJourney, which currently acts as a subholding for the airport service sector.

InJourney Airports President Director Faik Fahmi said that InJourney Airports' very positive financial performance was sourced from an increase in operating income. In the first semester of 2024, AP1 posted Operating Revenue of IDR 4.53 trillion.

Meanwhile, AP2 posted Operating Revenue of IDR 5.15 trillion.

The AP1 and AP2 operating revenues increased 7 percent from the total achievement in the first semester of 2023 of Rp9.05 trillion.

"The increase in operating income is in line with the ongoing airport integration process, InJourney Airports is carrying out the airport transformation which can optimize operating income and costs as well as be disciplined in maintaining costs," he said in an official statement, Wednesday, August 21.

Faik said that by carrying out this transformation, AP1 posted a net profit of Rp456 billion, 308 percent above the RKAP target of Rp148 billion.

Likewise, AP2's first semester 2024 Net Profit reached Rp441 billion, which also exceeded the RKAP target of up to 111 percent of Rp399 billion.

In line with this increase in performance, InJourney Airports managed to record an increase in EBITDA in the first semester of 2024 of Rp4.75 trillion, or 104 percent above RKAP, and grew 18 percent compared to the first semester of 2023.

"We are very grateful for the positive financial performance achievements in the first semester of 2024, and have succeeded in exceeding the set target. This achievement is of course supported by operational performance at InJourney Airports which continues to show a positive growth trend," he explained.

Throughout the first semester of 2024, continued Faik, his party noted that it had served 75 million passenger movements, grew 4 percent compared to the same period last year, and achieved a recovery rate of 93 percent compared to the first semester of 2019.

"This means that we are currently on a very good track to continue to record positive performance, as well as to realize the full recovery target," he said.

Faik said the airport transformation program at InJourney Airports will continue to be strengthened through a program to improve service quality to airport service users which will provide changes in terms of improving airport infrastructure quality, ecosystem-based operational management, and improving the quality of centralized customer-based human resources. global standard.

"In addition, the transformation carried out will present a new face of airports in Indonesia, including the beautification of the Soekarno-Hatta Airport terminal in Tangerang, optimizing the capacity and facilities of Bali's I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport from 24 million passengers per year to 32 million passengers per year," he explained.

Then, continued Faik, the development and capacity of Sultan Hasanuddin Airport in Makassar from the previous capacity of 7 million passengers per year to 15 million passengers per year.
