PBNU Mining Permit Completed, Bahlil: Muhammadiyah In Process

JAKARTA - Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia revealed the latest news regarding the granting of mining permits to religious community organizations (ormas).

Bahlil said the mining permit for the Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) Executive Board had been completed 3 or 4 days earlier. For now, his party is still waiting for the Compensation of Indormasi Data (KDI) payment as an obligation that must be deposited by PBNU to manage the mine.

"The permit for mining organizations for PBNU has been completed. If I'm not mistaken, 3-4 days ago they just need to pay to the state. The KDI must be transferred to the state, when it's finished, it's finished," Bahlil told the media crew after the handover of the Position at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Building, Monday, August 19.

Meanwhile, the Muhammadiyah mass organization is still in the process of licensing and has not yet been completed. Nevertheless, Bahlil ensured that the permit processing process was almost complete.

"Now in the process that is almost finished about the location," he continued briefly.

Regarding the technical ministry that will take care of the appeal, Bahlil said that the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and the Ministry of Investment would do it.

"Both of them. Still the PP cannot be changed, but the coordinates are at ESDM. So ESDM and the Minister of Investment have a coordination side, the upstream remains at ESDM, the downstream is at the Ministry of Investment," concluded Bahlil.
