Down! The Price Of Coal References For The Republic Of Indonesia In August 2024 Is 115.29 US Dollars Per Ton

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) has set the Reference Coal Price (HBA) as stated in the Decree of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Number 195.K/MB.01/MEM.B/2024 concerning Reference Metal Mineral Prices and Reference Coal Prices for August 2024 which was set on Friday, August 12, 2024.

In this decision, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Arifin Tasrif determined, HBA with an equality of 6,322 kcal/kg GAR calories, a total of 12.26 percent moisture, 0.66 percent sulphur, and 7.94 percent ash at 115.29 US Dollars per tonne.

This amount has decreased compared to the previous month which was priced at USD 130.44 per ton.

Furthermore, HBA is set for coal commodity I, in equal value of 5.300 kcal/kg GAR, total Moisture 21.32 percent total Sulphur 0.75 percent, and Ash 6.04 percent at 86.20 US dollars per ton.

This figure was also observed to have decreased compared to the previous month which was set at 91.85 US dollars per ton.

As for the reference price of coal commodity II in the equality of a value of 4.100 kcal/kg GAR, a total motion of 35.73 percent, a total of 0.23 percent sulphur and an Ash of 3.90 percent, it is set at 54.63 US dollars per ton.

This amount was observed to fall from the previous month which was set at 56.09 US dollars per ton.

Finally, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources also set a reference price for coal III, in equality with a value of 3,400 kcal/kg GAR, a total of 44.30 percent Moisture, a total of 0.24 percent of Sulphur and 3.88 percent of Ash, at 25.62 US dollars per ton.
