BCA Officially Enters IKN, Its Office Starts Construction With A Area Of 9,000 Square Meters

JAKARTA - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk or BCA has officially entered the Nusantara Capital (IKN) area, in East Kalimantan. This was marked by the laying of the first stone or groundbreaking of the BCA office today.

The laying of the BCA office's first stone was carried out directly by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), at IKN, East Kalimantan, quoted from the Presidential Secretariat's YouTube, Monday, August 12.

Based on the design mock-up displayed, the BCA Office at IKN has an area of 9,000 square meters. The BCA office will consist of two floors. In the courtyard area, there will be a public plaza to a showcase of superior export MSMEs.

Then, on the 1st floor, it will be secured for ATM Centers and also banking halls. Meanwhile, on the 2nd floor it will be intended for banking hall for priority customers. Including later there will be open areas for BCA workers.

"Bismillahirrahmanirrahim this afternoon, I officially declare the groundbreaking of the PT Bank Central Asia office," said Jokowi.

Jokowi welcomed the investment invested by BCA in IKN, East Kalimantan. He said BCA is a bank with high risk management. Therefore, the company must have calculated before investing in IKN.

"Because usually BCA calculations and calculations, the calculator is not double anymore, but 10 calculators are used and then dare to invest. Because BCA is a guarantee, it is impossible for BCA to dare to invest if no profits will be obtained, I appreciate Mr. Jahja (Managing Director of BCA) this investment," he said.

On that occasion, Jokowi also expressed the government's commitment to completing the construction of IKN supporting infrastructure. The goal is that the operations of BCA and similar banks can run well.
