Basuki Hadimuljono: The Settlement Of HGB For Investors At IKN Can Be Completed 11 Days

JAKARTA - The government continues to strive to facilitate the entry of investment into the construction of the capital city of Nusantara (IKN).

IKN development continues to be carried out with projects from the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) to non-APBN.

For non-APBN projects carried out by domestic and foreign business actors, the government provides a red carpet.

This convenience has been regulated in Government Regulation (PP) Number 12 of 2023 concerning the Provision of Business Licensing, Ease of Doing Business and Investment Facilities for Business Actors in the capital city of Nusantara.

In the PP, it is written that investors have the opportunity to obtain Building Use Rights (HGB) on the Management Rights (HPL) land belonging to the IKN Authority (OIKN) with a period of up to 160 years.

Related to this, the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) as well as the Acting Head of OIKN Basuki Hadimuljono said that his party would immediately carry out the HGB matter.

"Now the one who takes care of HGB is not the investor, but OIKN. So, we are OIKN who will take care of the HGB in 11 days," said Basuki before the first Plenary Cabinet Session at IKN, Monday, August 12.

"If not, it is the responsibility of Mr. Acting Deputy Chief of OIKN (King Juli Antoni)," joked Basuki.

Basuki said that Raja Juli himself ensured that the HGB-related affairs would be completed within 11 days.

"According to him, at most 11 days the HGB will come out and they give authority to OIKN to take care of the HGB," he said.

In the future, said Basuki, investors who will lay the first stone or groundbreaking will already have a cooperation agreement or PKS.

"Groundbreaking which will be directly PKS. So, now it has been made easier, faster for us to immediately invest (in IKN)," he added.
