Menpan RB Make Sure All Ministries Move To IKN

JAKARTA - Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB) Abdullah Azwar Anas ensured that all ministries would be transferred to the capital city of Nusantara (IKN)

Azwar said, initially Kemenpan RB was tasked with moving ASN with several ministers who first moved to IKN and the rest settled in Jakarta.

"But then it was decided by all Ministries to move to IKN. All Ministries. Of course with deputies who are directly related to government functions at least, so not all Deputys and not all asdep have moved to IKN," he said before the first Plenary Cabinet Session at IKN, Monday, August 12.

On the advice of President Joko Widodo, he continued, various scenarios by name by address have been prepared by adjusting the housing prepared at IKN.

"From the settlements prepared, God willing, until October, 47 Towers will be completed, some of these 12 Towers for the Indonesian National Police, partly for ASN," he added.

He continued, his ministry has also made a scenario related to ASN housing in IKN with a sharing scheme.

"If you don't share in October, you will be able to move 3,200 ASN, but if you don't share there will be 1,700," he continued.

However, at the direction of the President in a Limited Meeting (ratas), ASNs who are married do not need to share their housing with other ASNs.

"So don't worry about young friends who will move, they won't be able to share with their family and sons and daughters," he said.

He also ensured that there would be schools built to accommodate the educational needs of ASN children around the apartment.

"There will be a school below, around the apartment related to the needs of ASN," he concluded.
