Record New Record! Jabodebek LRT Users Reach 2 Million People

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI noted that the total volume of Jabodebek LRT users reached 2,027,272 people.

This figure is a new record for the highest number of users in one month since starting operations on August 28 last year.

Jabodebek LRT Public Relations Manager Mahendro Trang Bawono said user growth in July compared to June 2024 experienced a significant increase of 17 percent.

Mahendro said the increase in the number of users showed the high enthusiasm and public trust in the Jabodebek LRT service.

"We express our deepest gratitude to the public for their trust and support for the Jabodebek LRT. This achievement cannot be separated from the active role of all loyal users using the Jabodebek LRT service," Mahendro said in an official statement, Thursday, August 1.

Mahendro also detailed the average number of users on weekdays or Sundays reaching 75,694 people, while the average number of users on weekends or weekends reached 35,789 people.

"This number not only describes a daily surge in users, but also reflects the preference of the people who increasingly choose the Jabodebek LRT as the main mode of transportation, both for daily activities and on weekends," he said.

Furthermore, Mahendro said, the Jabodebek LRT is committed to continuing to provide the best service to all users.

Security, comfort, and timeliness are the main priorities of the Jabodebek LRT in providing a pleasant and reliable travel experience.

"We will continue to innovate and improve the quality of services to ensure that the Jabodebek LRT remains the main choice for the people of Jabodebek," said Mahendro.
