New Capture Fisheries PNBP Achieved IDR 533 Billion, Still Far From The Target Of IDR 1.79 Trillion

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) noted that the value of Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) from capture fisheries of natural resources (SDA) only reached Rp533 billion until the first semester of 2024.

The number of PNBP is still far from the target set by the government, which is IDR 1.79 trillion this year.

"Indeed, it is still quite far from the target, which is Rp. 1.79 trillion," said Director of Fishing Vessels and Fish Fishing Equipment Mochamad Idnillah at a press conference on the performance of KKP Semester I in Jakarta, Friday, July 26.

Even so, Mochamad said, that number increased dramatically when compared to the same period last year.

He said the achievement of PNBP for SDA capture fisheries in the first semester of 2023 only reached Rp42.90 billion.

The same thing happened to the achievement of non-SDA capture PNBP in the first semester of 2024, which reached Rp53.84 billion, an increase from the previous Rp49.13 billion in the first semester of 2023.

He considered that the increase did not escape various efforts to improve services carried out by the KKP.

Including, in carrying out data collection improvements.

"Alhamdulillah, we have moved up because the SOP we run is very effective in providing the best service to business actors. Then, we have started to serve data collection at the port well," he concluded.
