Angkasa Pura Will Change Its Name During Merger, This Is The Leak

JAKARTA - PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (API) will change its name. One of the names that are considered is Angkasa Pura Nusantara or APN. However, with a note, the name was chosen when approved by PT Aviasi Wisata Indonesia (Persero) or InJourney.

Information on the name change of the API is contained in the Additional Information and/or Amendment documents for the Summation of the Draft Merger of PT Angkasa Pura I, PT Angkasa Pura II and PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia.

Quoted from the disclosure of information on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), this additional information was made in connection with adjustments to the plan to implement the merger of PT Angkasa Pura I, PT Angkasa Pura II and PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia.

"There will be a change in the name of PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia to PT Angkasa Pura Nusantara (or other names as approved by PT Aviasi Wisata Indonesia (Persero)," the document reads, quoted from the IDX information disclosure, Wednesday, July 24.

After the name change is carried out, the next process is to change the name of PT Angkasa Pura II to PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia or API.

"Then, PT Angkasa Pura I will be merged into PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia, previously known as PT Angkasa Pura II," the document reads.

In the document, it is also explained that later PT Angkasa Pura II, which will be changed to PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia, will act as the company receiving the merger.

The effective date for the merger is still waiting for approval of the amendment to the articles of association from the Minister of Law and Human Rights on the amendment to the basic budget of PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia, previously known as PT Angkasa Pura Il, which was carried out in the context of this merger.
