Nickel Enters Simbara, Antam Boss Cares For Mining Governance Makes It Easier

JAKARTA - President Director of PT Aneka Tambang Tbk or Antam (ANTM) Nicolas D. Kanter opened his voice regarding the disbursement of the Mineral and Coal Information System between Ministries and Institutions (Simbara) for nickel and tin commodities which was carried out today, Monday 22 July.

Moreover, he said, Simbara integrated a number of services such as non-electronal tax state revenue (e-PNBP), Mineral Online Monitoring System (MOMS) and Sales Verification Module (MVP).

Thus, Nico assesses that this system will make it easier for companies because the licensing process will be simple, transparent, and can prevent fraud in the process.

"So every one requirement that is made difficult and uncertain will return to people. So if a condition is made that enters the data and the system is open and transparent, I think it will minimize all trials of people trying to intervene," Nico continued.

Nico also said that the integration of data from a number of ministries and institutions could make it easier for the government to view data and facilitate the issuance of the company's Work Plan and Budget (RKAB).

"So I am confident and believe that the system that will be created may have a small improvement here and there, but the basic thing is that digitalization makes all data transparent," Nico concluded.
