NUSANTARA - Head of the State Capital Infrastructure Development Task Force (IKN), Danis H Sumadilaga said, at IKN there are already raw water sources that are ready to be channeled to the IKN area and its surroundings, so that the residents will not lack water. "There are several locations of raw water sources such as in Intake Sepaku Sepaku and at the Sepaku Semoi Dam. The capacity is technically at Intake Sepaku 3,000 liters per second. Meanwhile, Sepaku Semoi Dam 2,500 liters per second," said Danis, quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, July 21. Previously, when visiting IKN, one of which saw firsthand the condition of Intake Sepaku in Nusantara on Friday, he said that for the one phase of the raw water source to be used comes from Intake Sepaku. "The water here will be processed through clean water processing next to the intake, then channeled through a pipeline along 16 km to the center of government. From there it is then distributed to each company in each building which is clean water to be used in IKN," he said. Danis also explained about the various latest developments in IKN development, such as the readiness of the ceremonial field, the presidential office, and other infrastructure to support the smooth celebration of the 79th Indonesian Independence Day on August 17, 2024. For the toll from Balikpapan to IKN, it is targeted to be able to function on August 17, 2024, namely the PUPR Ministry is building a 3A, 3B and 5A session toll road, which currently has reached an average of already 90 percent. The toll road is used for one lane each with three lanes, then there are two other lanes used specifically to go to IKN. Currently, the road trip from Balikpapan to reach IKN takes approximately 2.5 hours, but when the toll toll is functionalized, then the distance and travel time will certainly be much reduced, namely only takes about an hour.

Apart from Danis, those who visited IKN at that time were from the Presidential Staff Office (KSP), the Ministry of State Secretariat (Kemensetneg), the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo), the Ministry of PUPR, and the IKN Authority, they are members of the Inter-Ministry / institution Communication Team. This work visit was carried out to several locations such as Plaza Seremoni, the Presidential Office, and Intake Sungai Sepaku, especially in facilities and infrastructure related to the readiness of the location of the 79th Indonesian Independence Day ceremony at IKN.
