JAKARTA - Bank Banten achieved a net profit of IDR 26.59 billion at the age of 8 and this was considered to show positive performance. President Director of Bank Banten, Muhammad Busthami, said the commitment to make Bank Banten healthy would continue. In fact, he stated his readiness to step down at any time if the shareholders wanted it. If one day the shareholders ask to stop, I personally will not delay, if they are told to stop now I will stop now, he said.

"My experience at Bank Mandiri and other directors is also the same from Bank Bukopin and so on, assessing that in BPD there are political elements and winning cannot be separated, so there is a separate swab," he said. Busthami's confidence in the future of Bank Banten is getting stronger with the progress of fulfilling core capital from the bank's business group (KUB) scheme and assets delegated by the Banten Provincial Government. If KUB and Bank Jatim they actually want to immediately conduct a KUB with us, and the current Banten Provincial government through the construction of a new building in Serang City will carry out capital participation, and will be able to be used in early 2025, "he said.
