Bank BCA is said to be one of the private companies that will lay the first stone or groundbreaking for an office in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN).

This was conveyed by the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) as well as the Acting Head of the Archipelago Capital Authority (OIKN) Basuki Hadimuljono.

Basuki said that a number of investors would be involved in the groundbreaking of the seven IKNs which were planned to be held at the end of July. There are five potential investors who are ready to participate, one of which is PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA).

"It seems that there is (July groundbreaking), but not much. There are a maximum of five (projects), various sectors. However, one of those who will groundbreaking is BCA," said Basuki at his office, Friday, July 12.

Responding to this, Executive Vice President (EVP) Corporate Communication and Social Responsibility BCA Hera F Haryn said that his party was still coordinating with the IKN Authority.

He stressed that BCA will continue to communicate intensely with related parties.

"Regarding the plan to build an office in IKN, we are currently continuing to coordinate with all stakeholders, including with the relevant authorities," Hera told VOI, Monday, July 15.

As a national bank, Hera said, his party will be committed to providing quality and easily accessible financial services for all customers, both online and offline ecosystems.

Even so, he has not been able to provide confirmation of the date for the groundbreaking plan for the office at IKN.
