JAKARTA - PT Tripatra Engineers and Constructioners (TRIPATRA), a technical engineering-based solution provider, has just announced the signing of a contract with PT AGPA Refinery Complex (ARC), a joint venture company between POSCO International and GS Caltex, to begin construction of the AGPA Refinery Complex (ARC) Project which is a distillation facility in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. The project aims to increase the capacity of palm oil distillation in Indonesia as well as encourage the growth of economic development around the region.

The ARC project occupies an area of 300,000 m2 at Interport Industrial Park with a production capacity of 500,000 tons of processed palm oil annually. The work starts on February 29, 2024 and is expected to be completed in June 2025.

In this project, TRIPATRA will be responsible for the EPCC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning) aspects with a scope of work that includes Project Management (Project Management), Detailed Engineering and Design (Development and Engineering), Procurement (Procurement), Construction (Building), and Installation (Installation) to Commissioning (implementation) as well as other support provision to help clients complete the project.
