Danareksa Boss: There Are Four SOEs For PPA Patients Who Have Recovered

JAKARTA - President Director of PT Danareksa (Persero) Yadi Jaya Ruchandi revealed that there were four BUMN patients of PT Asset Management Company (PPA) who had the opportunity to be saved or restructuring them.

The four SOEs include PT Usahasan Daerah Industri Pulau Batam (Persero) or Persero Batam, PT Industri Kapal Indonesia (Persero), PT Dok and Peralangan Kodja Bahari (Persero), and PT Boma Bisma Indra (Persero).

"Indeed, if you want to be clear from (a total of 21+1 SOEs), there are only four (saved) opportunities," he said at a hearing (RDP) for the BUMN Restructuring and Restructuring Committee, at the DPR Building, Parliament Complex, Monday, June 24.

Furthermore, Yadi explained that PT Boma Bisma Indra (Persero) has the opportunity to survive because currently the government, in this case the Ministry of Industry, requires the use of domestic products.

"Manufacturing has a chance, a limited ban from the Ministry of Industry that allows the manufacturing industry to get its demand back. So far, we have lost competing from the surrounding countries, so we import it," he said.

In addition, continued Yadi, PT Industri Kapal Indonesia (Persero) and PT Dok and Shipship Kodja Bahari (Persero) also had a chance of survival due to a good request.

"We are doing scale-up so that in the future we can do this, from the surrounding SOEs such as Pelni, ASDP, Pertamina will injure DKB and IKI services. As an illustration, shipyards carry out operations every full week continue. We have the opportunity to add more," he said.

Shares Diverted To Danareksa

Yadi said that the inbreng will be carried out or transfer the shares of the four SOEs to PT Danareksa (Persero). Of the four, the Batam Company is projected to be completed this year.

Meanwhile, continued Yadi, the inbreng BUMN manufacturing feature, namely PT Boma Bisma Indra (Persero) is targeted to be carried out from 2025 to 2026. Meanwhile, for SOEs shipyards are targeted to be completed next year.

For your information, PPA received a special power of attorney (SKK) from the Ministry of SOEs in 2020 to entrust the management of 21 SOEs and one subsidiary. Of these, eight SOEs have been disbanded.

The eight SOEs consist of PT Iglas, PT Industri Sandang Nusantara, PT Istaka Karya, PT Kertas Kraft Aceh, PT Kertas Leces, and PT Merpati Nusantara Airlines, PT Pembangunan Armada Niaga Nasional (PANN) Multifinance. Meanwhile, a subsidiary of the PNN Multifinance, PT PANN Pembiayaan Maritime is still waiting for PP's disbandment.
