JAKARTA - In commemoration of the 497th Anniversary of DKI Jakarta as well as a series of events at the peak of the 52nd DKI Jakarta Regional Owned Enterprises (BUMD) PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya (Perseroda) (Food Station) for the first time held a Jakarta Food Festival (JakFood Fest) activity at the Cipinang Rice Main Market Complex Parking Lot, East Jakarta.

JakFood Fest was opened directly by the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono, JakFood Fest, which will be held on June 20-21, 2024.

Heru appreciated the holding of this event, where there were Pasar Jaya, Dharma Jaya, Bank DKI and coordinated by the Food Station.

"This market indicates that we, the DKI Provincial Government, will continue to maintain inflation, how to keep these staples stable in the Jakarta area. Therefore, today the Jakarta Food Festival 2024 will be held by the Food Station," said Heru when giving a speech.

Heru added that so far many tasks have been given by the DKI Provincial Government to the three Jakarta Food BUMDs, namely Food Station, Pasar Jaya and Dharma Jaya. The task is mainly to maintain economic stability and price stability in Jakarta, which of course has an impact on other prices and support the economy as a whole. Indonesian economy.

At the same time, I also appreciate the launch of two new Food Station products, namely premium rice and premium Ciwangi. Then at today's event there was also a diversification of products in the form of rice from cassava and another rice from corn. This is very proud of the community because they can choose products diversified from our staple food.

"In principle, the DKI Provincial Government is committed to maintaining basic prices and making products at affordable prices according to the quality of their products," he explained.

Gunarso's Director of Food Station Employees explained that the JakFood Festival can be held thanks to cooperation and synergy from various parties such as the Food BUMD (Perumda Dharma Jaya and Perumda Pasar Jaya), Bank DKI, the MSMEs fostered by the DKI Jakarta Provincial KPKP Service & the DKI Jakarta Provincial PPKUKM Service and Bank Indonesia Representative of DKI Jakarta, Business Actors at PIBC, and Food Station Business Partners.

This event was initiated by the Food Station as part of an effort to realize the food security of the people of DKI Jakarta where as a BUMD, Food Stations in addition to continuing to actively run low-cost food supply and distribution programs for certain people and low-cost markets, will continue to strive for similar activities to ensure that people get quality food at affordable prices.

In addition to the bazaar for a series of activities in the JakFood Fest, the Food Station held a soft launching of special rice products with the brands Padiwangi (Organik) and Ciwangi (Cianjur Pandan Wangi) with 1 kg packaging, providing assistance for criminal support tools for 2 extraordinary schools and assistance in the Stunting Eradication Program and holding cooperation signatories between the Food Station and business partners in order to strengthen the source of rice raw material supply for the implementation of the Food Security program in DKI Jakarta, distribution and marketing of food products both domestically and abroad.
