Elite Housing In Puri Bintara Bekasi Burns, Petugas Berjibaku Put Out Si Jago Merah

The fire incident hit an elite housing estate at the Puri Bintara Regency complex, Jalan Bintara VII, Bintara Village, West Bekasi District, Bekasi City on Sunday, June 16, afternoon.

The fire reportedly appeared at around 14:19 WIB. Residents reported the beginning of the fire incident to the Pondok Kopi Damkar post.

Head of East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Gatot Sulaeman confirmed the fire.

"The object of the fire was a house. One car had been launched from Pondok Kopi post with 4 firefighters to the location of the fire," said Gatot when confirmed.

Arriving at the location, the officers immediately carried out the process of extinguishing the blaze.

Officers continued to struggle to extinguish the fire which continued to emit thick smoke from the residents' houses.

"The blackout started at 14.28 WIB. Currently, the blackout process is still being handled," he said.

Until now, it is not known the cause of the fire that hit a resident's house. Officers are also still focused on extinguishing the blaze.
