Eid Al-Adha Long Holiday, Passengers Predicted To Reach 18,000 People Per Day

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia Chinq (KCIC) noted that ahead of the long holiday or long weekend Eid al-Adha on June 15 to 18, 2024, passengers on the Fast Train

KCIC's GM Corporate Secretary, Eva Chairunisa, said that today the train for the afternoon departure until the last train at 20.30 the occupancy had been around 75 to 85 percent.

"It is predicted that the number of passengers will reach 18,000 passengers per day or an increase of about 20 percent compared to the usual days serving 15,000 to 16,000 passengers per day," he said in a written statement, Friday, June 14.

As a form of improving services to passengers in the long weekend Eid al-Adha, KCIC will also place additional mobile customer service to provide information and assistance amid an increase in the number of passengers

In total there are up to 45 service officers at each station. In addition, to ensure security at stations and route lines, KCIC also places up to 550 security officers per day," he explained.

In addition, continued Eva, in terms of facilities, there are additional food and beverage tenants at Halim, Padalarang or Tegalluar Stations.
