AstraPay Records Total Transactions Until May 2024 Reaching IDR 19.03 Trillion

JAKARTA - The digital payment application company, PT Astra Digital Arta (AstraPay) recorded a total transaction value or gross transaction value (GTV) in the January-May 2024 period reaching IDR 19.03 trillion.

AstraPay Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Rina Apriana said the total transaction value until the end of May 2024 was driven by the number of AstraPay users reaching more than 13 million with total transactions reaching 32 million times.

"Until the end of 2024, AstraPay targets 15 million users with 32 million transactions and GTV which is targeted to reach Rp52.59 trillion," he said in his statement, Thursday, June 13.

According to Rina, her party as a digital wallet service provider company plays an important role in the growing digital payment ecosystem.

Rina explained that with the increasing adoption of financial technology, the use of QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) as one of the digital payment methods also expanded with the convenience and speed of transactions offered.

"AstraPay is also present to support the optimization of the more massive use of QRIS for a number of merchants, especially for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs)," he said.

Rina said that her party as a financial services business actor (PUJK) also has an important role in supporting the improvement of understanding the digital payment system to support the development and innovation of a healthy and sustainable payment system.

"AstraPay believes that people who have a good understanding of good financial products and services and digital payments can be careful in any smart digital financial management," he explained.
