Here's How Pertamina Patra Niaga Handles Tuban Pipe Reduction

JAKARTA PT Pertamina Patra Niaga through the Tuban Fuel Oil Terminal (BBM) moved quickly to deal with pipe leaks that occurred Monday, June 10 in the morning at around 02.00 WIB.

The first step taken is to ensure that the security walls are able to fence off the seepage from overflowing (auto protection).

In addition, the handling was carried out by deploying a vacuum truck (oil booster) and oil absorber (oil absorber) so that the oil that came out was immediately handled.

In anticipation of the safety of residents, Pertamina immediately evacuated the residents of Tasikharjo village who were in the vicinity of the leakage area.

Even though the residential area is quite far from the Tuban BBM Terminal.

Area Manager Communication, Relation & CSR Jatimbalinus Sunday Rahedi stated that conditions have gradually improved and the cause of leakage is still under investigation.

"The conditions have gradually improved and some residents have returned to their homes. The distribution of fuel to the Tuban community and its surroundings continues to run normally and the stock is guaranteed to be safe," concluded Sunday.
